Fernbank public art commission fitted
After months of work the 9 panels were installed by a team of skilled craftsmen. The day started at 5.30am and we were on site until 6 pm, the scissor lift gave up the ghost at around 3pm leaving us to ingeniously install the last remaining panel, some 5 metres off the ground!!
The panels all reflect Crowborough and Wealden industry from the brickworks to the iron industries that flourished in the sussex weald. Panels range in size from 2-3 metres long. all are galvanised and powdercoated with stainless steel accents.
