Hortus gate

This gate marks the entrance to a contemporary folly, the client, a garden designer had excavated a space in which Koi carp swim around your feet. The gate takes its inspiration from the ferns that surround the walls, the tapers were forged to 3.5 m long before being worked into their finished shapes. You can see the clients other gardens at www.hortusinfinitus.co.uk/
