With architectural work I will often suggest a site visit. This is useful as it gives us a chance to meet and discuss the project while also giving an insight into the context and location of the work.
The Design
Once the budget has been discussed I will usually produce 2-3 hand drawn designs based upon the project brief. At this point each design is costed and a written quote is supplied which also gives clients an indication of the likely turnaround time for the commission.
The Making
Upon receipt of a 40% deposit I then allocate workshop time for the commission. Clients are most welcome to visit the forge and view the work in progress.
The Fitting
One of my unique strengths is that I offer a completely bespoke service, I can guarantee the same high level of craftmanship both in the forge and also when it comes to installing the work in your home or premises.
