Our art nouveau gate is more traditional in style than much of our other work but is still just as rich in forged joinery and detailing. Our clients were keen to commission a piece of ironwork that sat well in the context of their period home. The gate marks the entrance to a walled garden and echoes the plants within.
Riveted panel work at the base of the gate gives the work a rooted feel whilst the interlocking scrollwork and plant inspired forgings are reminiscent of the wonderfully fluid art nouveau ironwork of the early 1900’s.
