These Contemporary garden handrails run continuously for over 25m, following the steps to the entrance of this property in Lewes, East Sussex. The design compliments the Plate gates which formed part of the same commission.
We combined the modern design of the handrails with traditional forged joinery techniques. The contemporary garden handrails feature a tenoned and riveted construction giving a strong forged connection . The result is a tactile piece of contemporary metalwork, which whilst extremely functional also has a lightness of touch.
