Bosham Gates

The Bosham gates were designed in collaboration with our clients and were inspired by the wetlands that surround the house.

The gates feature forgings of reeds and hanging willows, as well as a kingfisher and a drake. Whilst there is a pattern of sorts within this design it’s very much an expression of the growth of nature and plants. The gates are hung from tubular posts which were diamond drilled through the stone pavers and into concrete footings.

Our clients were keen to use a digital access lock for ease of use, which we incorporated into the design. The gates are galvanised and patinated. West Sussex, 2021
