The Strata driveway gates were inspired by the layers and textures that occur in certain rock formations. The heavy iron plate has been intentionally worked with the heavy blows of our industrial forging hammers. This contrasts with the contemporary, linear feel of the main gate frames. These entrance gates feature a wide range of traditional forging processes , from hot punched holes and pressings to hot riveting. All of which contribute to a complicated yet understated modern design that echoes the rich craft tradition within blacksmithing.
The Strata driveway gates are galvanised and powder coated and have been automated for ease of use. Surrey hills, 2023
