Wrought iron balcony and veranda

Our wrought iron balcony and veranda was designed, forged and installed for clients in Rochester, Kent. Our clients had completely remodelled the rear of this victorian town house and were keen to add a statement feature that overlooked their garden. The balcony is supported by 2 forged metal columns with a decorative motif  that takes its inspiration from plant forms. The columns are a fixed to a pair of bath stone plinths and support the oak deck above.

The bespoke balustrade around the balcony continues the forged motif on the columns,  rising up to what will eventually be a swept Georgian style rolled zinc veranda roof.

The entire project had to be delivered with restricted access down a side path. The balcony and metalwork were carefully assembled on site with a spider crane.

The wrought iron balcony and veranda are forged and fabricated with a galvanised and powder coated finish, ensuring decades of weather protection.
