Forged gate details

So often the success of a gate project comes down to the forged gate details and this is one that ticks the boxes for me. I have been experimenting with with what I call ‘face to edge’ for a while, this involved changing the front elevation of the steel through a forged transition or bend. Its beautifully simple but effective. This particular detailing was used on a recent forged pedestrian gate complimenting its clean lines and contemporary design. West Sussex 2016
