Our Barn staircase and railing was designed, forged and fabricated for clients in Henfield, West Sussex. This iron and oak staircase replaces a dilapidated timber predecessor. The staircase railing features a traditional hand forged scroll detail on the uprights, combined with oak slats on the treads and balcony deck.
The timeless combination of oak and iron not only looks great but is proven to last decades. The forged railing features hot punched holes which connect to the thick plate that makes up the stringer. The barn staircase and railing project was carefully assembled and installed by ourselves on site and bolted through the existing oak structural beams within the barn.
