This sculptural gate is hand forged in iron with a patinated zinc finish. Commissioned for the entrance of a West Sussex garden this piece of sculptural architectural metalwork combines traditional wrought iron motifs with a more freeform fluid construction. The forged shapes overlap giving a real sense of depth within the gate.
The curved plant forms wave been dished and fire welded onto forged tapers, these are then over laped and riveted onto a bottom rail.
The tenoned and rivet frame used in this sculptural gate is extremely strong and provides structure and contrast with the more organic forms.
