Primrose Hill iron railing

The Primrose hill iron railing was commissioned to replace some reproduction cast iron railings that enclosed this North London garden.

The fire welded branch detail that runs along the top of the railing is inspired by the cast iron leaves found on the iron balconies. It was great to be able to carry on an existing theme already present and incorporate this into our design. The Primrose Hill iron railing uses flat bar on edge which helps give a feeling of lightness around the perimeter, whilst also being extremely strong and rigid.

At over 20m long comprehensive templating was needed to ensure an exact fit with the irregularly curved wall.

We have had the pleasure of making a number of pieces for this property, including the Primrose Hill garden bench, gate and bronze handrail
